General terms and conditions
1. Conclusion of the accommodation contract
The accommodation contract is concluded as soon as a room has been booked by telephone or in person and confirmed by Pension Seemoi. Written confirmation is not required, but may be provided by the guesthouse in text form.
2. Provision and use of rooms
Booked rooms are available from 4 p.m. on the day of arrival. There is no entitlement to earlier availability.
On the day of departure, rooms must be vacated and made available by 10 a.m. at the latest.
The booked room may only be used by the guests named on the booking confirmation during the entire stay.
Use by additional persons is only possible after prior registration and for an additional charge, depending on the season and availability.

Towels and bed linen are included. Additional hand towels or bath towels can be provided on request for EUR 15 per set.
5. Payment terms
Payment for your stay must be made by bank transfer at least 14 days before arrival.
Unfortunately, other payment methods are not possible.
6. Cancellation policy
The reserved room will be kept available on the day of arrival in any case.
- Bookings of 7 nights or more: Free cancellation is possible up to 60 days prior to arrival.
- Bookings of less than 7 nights: Cancellations are non-refundable; free cancellation is not possible.
In the event of late cancellation or no-show, the guesthouse will endeavour to re-let the room. If this is not possible, the room price minus 10% for saved expenses will be charged.
This rule also applies to cancellations due to health reasons, including risk groups, personal illness, illness of a fellow traveller or ordered quarantine.
7. Recommendation for travel cancellation insurance
To cover any cancellation costs, we strongly recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.
8. Subletting / Mitigation of damages
If the room is re-let for the booked period, the payment obligation shall only be waived to the extent that the original rental price is achieved through the new letting.
Any difference shall be borne by the initial booker. The guest reserves the right to prove that the damage incurred was less.
9. House rules and behaviour in the house
Pension Seemoi reserves the right to refuse guests access to the premises, particularly in cases of heavy alcohol consumption or dangerous behaviour.
Guests undertake to treat the premises and surrounding area with care and not to disturb other guests. Violations may result in expulsion from the accommodation.
10. Liability for lost keys
In the event of the loss of a room key or spare key, the guesthouse will charge a fee to cover the actual costs of replacing the key, replacing the lock if necessary, making additional keys, and administrative and labour costs. The fee starts at EUR 110 and is based on the actual costs incurred. Guests will receive a breakdown of the costs charged upon request.
11. Damage and liability on the part of the guest
The guest is liable for any damage caused by him or persons accompanying him to the accommodation, inventory or building, including:
- Damage to furniture, furnishings or technical equipment
- Damage caused by improper use or negligence
- Soiling that exceeds normal use
The guest will be charged for any damage or excessive soiling. Damage must be reported immediately. The guest reserves the right to prove that the damage was less extensive.
12. Liability for personal belongings
The guesthouse accepts no liability for guests’ personal belongings, valuables or vehicles. Guests are responsible for keeping these items safe themselves.
13. Written form requirement
No verbal side agreements shall be made. Amendments, additions and cancellations to this agreement must be made in writing.
14. Severability clause
Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be or become invalid in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
The invalid provisions shall be replaced by the statutory provisions.
15. Place of jurisdiction and applicable law
German law applies. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of Pension Seemoi, insofar as this is legally permissible.
